Nick Ward – Pink Bay

There’s some fantastic new releases coming up shortly but in the meantime I’ll make mention of a few noteworthy albums / singles currently available.

The first I’d like to draw your attention to is Pink Bay by Nick Ward. This is a collection of songs inspired by the coastal area near to Nick’s home.

While still retaining elements of New Wave as heard on Nick’s earlier work (on Outside Looking In) such as Follow The Sun there are also some bittersweet songs in a singer/songwriter vein, most notably ‘A Map & A Pin’.

Nick Ward is a quality artist that should be more well known and hopefully his forthcoming album Cadenza will give him the breakthrough that he deserves.
